The following provisions outline the general standards, limitations, and expectations applicable to all concrete installation and repair services. These guidelines help ensure quality workmanship, fair evaluation of concrete performance, and clear communication between the contractor and client.
- Concrete pouring
Best practice includes ensuring that the concrete is poured on a ready surface to make it effective. Xcelent Concrete Services Inc. takes the responsibility of preparing the area where concrete will be poured, including removing debris and leaves before pouring the concrete.
- During the warranty period
Xcelent Concrete Services Inc. will take care of all the problems related to workmanship problems or improper installations, occurring to the concrete structure.
- Cracks
Cracks are generally preventable at an early stage. However, the excess water will evaporate once it is exposed to warm temperatures. If the evaporation is excessive, cracks will likely appear. Xcelent Concrete Services Inc. will prevent, repair, and reinforce concrete to prevent cracks, remove threats, and strengthen the concrete structure accordingly.
- Warranty
Xcelent Concrete Services Inc.’s warranty will be valid for one year since the date of project completion. We do hereby warrant that all the work and labour services provided for the project will be perfect and from any possible defect for the entire period.
- Stains and discoloration
If unclean or iron-rich water is used for concrete installations, stains can appear on the final structure. If the water had plenty of calcium, concrete discoloration is likely to happen, causing ununiformed color patterns, patches, and unwanted stains. Xcelent Concrete Services Inc. can use diluted water of popular bleach to remove the stains.
- Settling of concrete
Different soils will call for different measures that will prevent future problems, such as soil settling. It is our goal to ensure that soil shrinkage does not lead to concrete slabs sinking below the desired level of elevation. Rest assured that Xcelent Concrete Services Inc. will take extra precautions to prevent this problem.
